AYSS Reporting Meeting and Future PlansOn 29 March, a general meeting of the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR was held at the Laboratory of Information Technologies, at which elections of the Сhairman of the AYSS Council are traditionally held. The current chairman of AYSS N.N.Voytishin made a report on the AYSS activities carried out in 2021-2022.The elections have been recognised as valid, in the result of which a new staff of the AYSS Council has been approved, including: A.N.Voytishina, I.A.Kolesnikova, L.D.Kolupaeva, A.Yu.Nezvanov, I.S.Pelevanyuk, A.F.Pikelner, D.K.Pugachev, M.M.Shandov. The DLNP Junior researcher V.A.Rozhkov has been elected as the Chairman of the Council. At the request of the editorial staff, Vladislav Andreevich answered the questions of the mini-interview, talking about himself and his plans. "How have you become involved in the United Institute?" "I learned about the Institute from Bogdan Kondratiev (we studied together with him). The conversation took place in 2016 and at that time Bogdan had been working at VBLHEP for a few years. It happened so that I had already been offered a job in Obninsk, but I read a little about the Institute and about its activities and the choice became obvious. "What are the years of work at JINR remarkable for you with?" "During five years that I have spent in Dubna, I have met amazing, wonderful people, I have met my wife here. By the way, it is difficult for me to think of Dubna separately from JINR, and vice versa. I like my work, I like the tasks I solve, the team, the working conditions, I am satisfied with everything. Regarding the rest, everything is also fine - the urban infrastructure allows me to do anything I am fond of. I like going to the forest for mushrooms and berries - the forest is nearby. I love fishing, there are many reservoirs here. Dubna is a great place to live, work and relax." "Have you had an active participation in the activities of AYSS?" "They say, quite active, but I would not say so. Organisation of youth schools and conferences has never been difficult for me, it has always been interesting for me. You just need to do what you like, what gives pleasure, and that's it. Only in this case everything will work out quickly and efficiently." "What issues do you consider the most relevant for our scientific youth, what will you deal with first of all?" "One of the tasks will be raising awareness about what kind of association it is, what it is engaged in and what tasks it has to solve. We want to ensure that AYSS becomes a fully functioning mechanism for promoting any youth initiatives, from the installation of bus stop signs at JINR sites to orginising a school for the exchange of experience on the basis of any Laboratory. As for topical issues, they do not change: housing, material and social. And I want to note that there are already solutions to some issues within the competence of the association: the program of the Moscow Region "Social Mortgage" and grants from AYSS. And a few ones are yet to be decided." We wish Vladislav Andreevich success and an active implementation of plans - to young scientists. And we remind you that from 5 June to 12 June, the 11th Annual Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists will be held in Alushta. As part of the event, the staff members of the Institute will give lectures on achievements at the Laboratories of the Institute. In turn, young scientists and specialists from JINR will present reports on the topic of their scientific research. In addition, it is planned to hold discussions on the topics of lectures, as well as a round table with the Directorate of the Institute and the City Administration.
