Meeting of JINR Finance Committee

On 23 May, a meeting of the Finance Committee of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research was held at the International Conference Hall.

The meeting was opened with a report by JINR Director RAS Academician Grigory Trubnikov on the events in the life of the Institute since November last year, as well as scientific results, improvement of administrative management, state of the budget, staff support, goals of the next seven-year period. Head of the JINR Budget and Economic Policy Department Nikolay Kalinin gave a talk on the execution of the JINR budget for 2021 and the draft of the revised budget of JINR for 2022. JINR Vice-Director Latchesar Kostov reported on selecting an organisation for auditing JINR's financial activities for 2021. The participants of the meeting learnt about the results of the meeting of the Working Group under the CP Chairman for Financial Issues of JINR held on 19 May, as the Chairman of the group, Aidos Isadykov said. The issue of taxation for employees who are not citizens of the Russian Federation was also discussed here. JINR Chief Scientific Secretary Sergey Nedelko made proposals on improving the standard regulation of cooperation programmes and grants of Plenipotentiaries of the JINR Member States. The participants of the meeting listened to the scientific report by MLIT JINR Director Vladimir Korenkov "Digital Platforms for JINR Research Projects".

After a general discussion, decisions were made that will be presented on 25 May at the session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States.
