Dubna has its championships and champions

The FIFA World Cup has come to an end that has made not only fans, but also people who are indifferent to sports experience all its ups and downs. It is an amazing game that is played by all the men of our planet and today, by women, too. That is why football is so popular.

And here, in Dubna, football championships are held in the 11:11, 8:8, 5:5 formats, with players from Dmitrov, Taldom, Konakovo, Kimry, Verbilki taking part. And currently, the mini-football matches in the 5:5 format that are held every Sunday in the sports complex "Raduga" are in full swing. The JINR team also actively competes for the title of the city champion. This is the best team not only in the city, but also in the north of the Moscow region that is confirmed by victories over the past few years. The team from Dubna has been a double winner of the championship of the Taldom region in the 11:11 format. However, they have not yet won any regional tournaments and that means there is a lot to strive for.

The team's director and soul is JINR employee Anton Melezhik. He has gathered around him people fanatically devoted to football that dedicate almost all their free time to this game. The game teaches to work in a team and it helps to successfully solve problems at work in a team, physical activity helps to relieve stress and negative emotions. An example of this is the final match of the summer-autumn season between the teams of JINR and "Raduga". With an equal number of points, the fate of the championship was decided. Anton Melezhik was in charge of the game, standing on the edge of the field and with the score 1:0 in favor of the JINR team, a minute before the end of the game, he could not stand it and argued with the referee, for which he received a red card. But he did not have time to get upset, as the referee's whistle announced the end of the match and this meant the victory of JINR in the next city tournament.

Anton, energetic, caring and an excellent organizer, has managed to lead the team to the first place among the 20 teams of the city. He not only leads the team, but also plays successfully himself, often giving up his place to younger players, believing that their speed and endurance lead to victories. I would like to name the best players of the team, to which Anton replied: "Everyone is the best, everyone is for each other, we are a team." I guess that this is the secret of these players' victories. And of course, there are regular trainings on the field, all year round in the gym, training on simulators, in the pool, a sauna after the competitions - all these services are provided for free by the JINR Administration.

To look better than everyone else, the uniform is also renewed. It is interesting to note that the choice of uniform also speaks about the atmosphere in the team. The uniform is from the company "Rina". One set is blue: the color of loyalty and the ability to establish friendships that no doubt, is in the team. The other uniform is white. And this color symbolizes the solemnity of greatness and victory. This is also characteristic of JINR players. We would like to believe that the next uniform will be red. This color represents love and joy. The love of the fans and the joy of new victories. And if to put it all together, you get the flag of Russia. And it is in our country that there is a Joint Institute for Nuclear Research that the whole world knows about. And the players of the JINR football team defend with great enthusiasm the honor of the Institute not only in science, but also in sport and they are proud of it. So, we wish the team to achieve even more success in the new year and we will support them.
