AYSS Chairman has joined the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs under the President of the Russian Federation

A junior researcher of the Department of Colliding Beams of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems of JINR Vladislav Rozhkov has been included in the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres of the Council for Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation.

Vladislav Rozhkov heads the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR at the Institute and is a member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Moscow Region. The young scientist has become a co-author of nine publications in international peer-reviewed journals and one patent for an invention, he has been awarded a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and a grant from the Russian Science Foundation.

The Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres was established in February 2007 and is meant to ensure interaction with young scientists and teachers, as well as public associations and organizations of young scientists, teachers, specialists and students. Today, the Coordinating Council consists of 66 people: 10 Doctors of Science, 38 Candidates of Science and 2 Candidates with a PhD degree.
