Vascular Centre will open in Dubna

The long-awaited Vascular Centre will soon open in the Medical Unit No.9. The repair has already been completed in the premises, the required medical equipment is currently assembled and the hagiographer is in the process of commissioning by the representatives of Philips.

"The opening of the Vascular Centre will allow to provide urgent and scheduled high-tech medical care to patients with heart attacks, strokes and other dangerous heart and vascular diseases. The Centre will work for all the citizens of Dubna, regardless of the point of attachment. All this has become possible thanks to the support of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov, the joint efforts of the Administration, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research," Mayor of Dubna Sergey Kulikov said.

The hagiographer can be used to visualize the lumen of blood vessels and heart cavities under X-rays. High-tech equipment is designed for two operating theatres - these are departments of X-ray endovascular methods of diagnostics and treatment.

In addition, Directorate of the Medical Unit is going to extend the intensive care unit from 6 to 12 beds. One half of the ward will be allocated for patients with cardiac diseases, the other half - for patients with acute cerebrovascular accident. Repair of premises and installation of equipment is scheduled to be completed in March.
