Dubna sings in Sarov

On 13-15 October, the chamber choir "Credo" (director: Honored Worker of Culture of the Moscow Region Irina Nikolaevna Kachkalova) took part in the three-day festival of choral art "Harmony of the World" in the city of Sarov. The festival was held with the aim of intensifying the musical activity and creative potential of Russian choral groups, uniting listeners and performers through the most democratic of all types of musical art - choral singing.

The festival "Harmony of Peace" that was held at the VNIIEF Culture and Leisure Centre, was called a celebration of music, peace, friendship and goodness. All participants received well-deserved awards and applause and the audience received an excellent opportunity to hear the best choral compositions performed by six groups from Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Kazan, Dubna and Zelenograd. The festival organizers prepared for all guests the opportunity to get to know the city of Sarov better.

Touches to the portrait of the city

On 13 October, in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Centre "Mir" Tatyana Romanenkova gave a lecture "The Mosaic heritage of Nadya Leger. 50 years later." The audience was presented with unique matter, rare books and the Soviet catalog "Mosaics of Nadezhda L?ger: Catalog of an exhibition of mosaics dedicated to Soviet museums. M., 1972." The lecture included scattered information obtained from different sources at different times, creating an overall picture of the historical events of our city and the biographical facts of Nadezhda Leger. Today, ten mosaics are in the park opposite the Cultural Centre "Mir" and four, with portraits of astronauts - near the Cultural Centre "Oktyabr". Photo by Igor Lapenko

Hello stage!

On 11 October, the staff of the Cultural Centre gave a behind-the-scenes tour for the children from the dance and personality development studio "Element". Like real artists, the children went through the dressing rooms to the stage of the Great Hall, where they learned a lot about the technical equipment of the premises, visited choir and ballet classes and visited an exhibition of mosaics by Mikhail Polyakov and his students. The children received a lot of positive emotions from the excursion. We hope that they will return to us as audience more than once and will also delight us with performances on a big professional stage.
