News of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir" The joy of moving in pairsSuch popular styles as Argentine tango, zouk, kizomba, bachata and salsa are practiced in the Phylosophy Dance club.
Characteristics of the club are "communication in the language of dance", mutual understanding, cooperation in pairs. Under the supervision of Arthur Borodin, the club successfully takes part in various events in the city. Arthur shares his rich experience of dancing in pairs to all lovers of pair dancing. He acquired these skills during an internship in Latin America. At the Festival "Klever", recently held at the Universal Library, the club's dancers performed a rueda (translated from Spanish as "wheel, circle"). This is a Cuban variety of salsa performed simultaneously by several couples. Partners replace each other in a circle at the command of the cantor (leader). A master class on Argentine tango and salsa was held at the festival. Everyone was able to communicate, learn how to move beautifully in pairs and some maybe discovered the philosophy of pair dancing! Preparation for holidays and concertsThis year, the vocal ensemble "Metelitsa" will turn 26 years old. The membership changes over the years, new people come, the repertoire is enriched. Head of the group Vladimir Nemtsev says, "Currently, we learn a song called "Rejoice" (music by A.Morozov, lyrics by A.Poperechny). This song, both in meaning and content, was received very positively by the entire cast. It is positive and leads us in a good mood. And it will also lead those listeners that will be at the concert when we perform it. As for our creative plans, of course, we prepare for Victory Day, for City Day. By tradition, we will perform on holidays. And we will definitely take part in the concerts that will be held at the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".
"No Frames"Until 19 May, an exhibition of artists Dmitry Korotkov and Ilya Kozin "Without frames" is open in the exhibition hall of the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".In the usual understanding, painting is the art of life-like reflection of reality on a plane. No one dictates the rules, except perhaps historical development in an endless variety of styles and trends. A demonstration of one's reality was proposed by Dmitry Korotkov and Ilya Kozin in the exhibition "Without frames." In this unexpectedly created show, the viewer most likely will not see a duet: what is more obvious is the sound of two conflicting solos with a lack of competition. Dmitry's creative track record is already quite long and Ilya has a blank slate behind him. What unites them is the lack of special art education. According to the organizers of the event, the ambitious and charismatic nature of the authors will provoke the viewer to think and make their own interpretation. Opening hours of the exhibition hall: Tuesday - Sunday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday - closed. Free admission. Eleonora Yamaleeva
