Calculations, techniques, analytics

From 21 to 25 October, the conference entitled “Mathematical Modelling and Computational Physics, 2024” (MMCP 2024) is taking place in Armenia. The event is organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory, Yerevan State University (YSU), and the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (IIAP NAS RA).

The conference gathered more than 150 scientists and specialists from 18 countries (Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) and a large number of Russian research centres and universities, including MLIT, BLTP, VBLHEP, and LRB at JINR.

The event covers a wide range of scientific issues. The sessions of the conference are devoted to machine learning and big data analysis, mathematical methods and modelling tools for complex physical systems, methods and numerical algorithms in high-energy physics, and numerical and analytical calculations in modern mathematical physics. In addition, there are sessions about methods of quantum computing and quantum information processing, modern methods of data processing and analysis in megascience projects, high-performance computing and computer science, and mathematical methods in life sciences.
