Excellent result

On 22 - 25 November, the XXXI Russian Swimming Cup in the Masters category was held in Kazan.

The competition was successful for the swimmers from the Club "Element 105". The coach of the Swimming Pool "Archimedes" Maria Alikina performed spectacularly: four starts - four gold medals. Maria became the champion in the 100m and 200m butterfly and 200m and 400m freestyle. Moreover, she set a Russian record in the 200m butterfly.

Our other girls, JINR employees, won medals as well. Irina Migulina (VBLHEP) won silver in the 200m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m breaststroke. Svetlana Gikal (Publishing Department) took the second place in the 100m butterfly and won bronze in the 100m freestyle. Svetlana Smirnova (DRS) won bronze in the 400m individual medley.

Other swimmers of the Club also won medals: Nona Burova, Dmitry Glushko, Dmitry Bychkov.
