Master's degree at the Moscow State University branchThe branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in Dubna on the basis of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research announces admission to the master's programme. Submission of documents will begin on 20 June.Training is held in two educational programmes (10 budget and 10 contract places): "Physics of Elementary Particles" and "Fundamental and Applied Nuclear Physics". MSU diplomas of higher education are issued in two languages. Master's students at the Moscow State University branch are awarded a scholarship in the amount of 25000 rubles and are provided with a dormitory in Dubna. While studying at the master's programme, the opportunity is provided to engage in theoretical and experimental research in the field of nuclear physics, particle physics and related fields in JINR laboratories. Students carry out scientific work in a team of scientists, working on world-class projects, participating in experiments in international collaborations and representing MSU and JINR at international and Russian conferences. Upon admission, one has to provide proof of a bachelor's degree and pass an entrance test in physics.
