To HEIs - under new regulations

The new regulations for admission to higher education institutions (HEIs) have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The Ministry of Education and Science has reduced as much as possible the future number of specialties and areas for which one can apply. Previously, an applicant could submit up to 10 applications, today - two times less that no doubt, will help to avoid artificial "inflating" the competition. Another innovation - if one wishes, he/she can simultaneously submit two applications: for the budgetary and paid departments and in case several specialties are selected, then one needs to immediately prioritize this, for the selection committee will focus on them.

For all forms of education, uniform deadlines for admission to budget places are established, including the deadlines for extra admission. Previously, as it is known, each higher education institution could independently establish the deadlines for admission to distance learning that delayed the timing of the admission campaign. Starting next year, uniform dates for everyone will be established. The deadline for accepting documents for applicants based on the results of the Unified State Exam for all forms of education is no earlier than 20 July and no later than 25 July. The additional admission should end no later than 29 August.

Since the regulations for admission to higher education institutions have already been published by many universities, we can assume that the start of the admission campaign for 2023 has already been given.
