The JINR Artists' Club "Quarks" presents...

On 22 December, an exhibition-reflection on the eternal, never losing its relevance and intensity, the theme of the confrontation between good and evil "Temporary Permafrost" of the JINR Artists' Club "Quarks" was opened in the Cultural Centre "Mir", in a cozy chamber atmosphere.

"Permafrost", for we all know how easy it is to turn a kind heart into an icy and indifferent one. "Temporary", for we sincerely believe in the power of love and kindness, capable, no matter what, of bringing joy back to the most frozen heart and finding resonance in it.

JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov visited the grand opening of the exhibition and talked to the authors. Head of the JINR Artists' Club "Quarks" Anastasia Zlobina spoke about the Club: about an informal approach to learning (absolutely everyone is welcome in the Club, Anastasia always tries to preserve the own unique style of students, teaches them not to be afraid to try and improve in different techniques), about how the theme for the exhibition was found (with a sincere belief in good), how the project was born (as it is always painful, such is the way, but it is certainly worth it, for artists should necessarily show their acting to the audience and the audience should see and respond to it).

It has become a truly wonderful tradition at the opening of exhibitions to receive as a gift from the Music School several finely selected compositions on the theme of the exhibition. On 22 December, the guests listened to "Swallow" by A.Shakhgaldyan (vocal - by Masha Kapanadze), "Hunting for a Butterfly" by I.Irdansky (behind the white Steinway - Timoshchuk Serezha), "Sleep, my child, sleep" by A.Arensky (vocal - by Ekaterina Zinina), "Fleeting number 10 in D flat major" by S.Prokofiev (behind the white Steinway - Sofia Shakunova) and "Forest Ball" by S.Agababov (vocal - by Emilia Mirakyan).

The exhibition will be open until the end of January. During the holidays, take your friends and family and come to the exhibition together! We have a very nice Book of Responses - leave your impressions in it, your reaction to art works is very important for the artist. See you at the "Temporary Permafrost" exhibition!
