Visit of the Indian Ambassador

On 16 October, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Indian Republic to the Russian Federation Pavan Kapoor visited JINR. At the meeting with JINR Director RAS Academician Grigory Trubnikov, aspects of strengthening cooperation between India and JINR were discussed.

On behalf of the Indian Embassy, the Second Secretary of the Embassy Bharat Yadav also took part in the discussion. From JINR, the participants in the discussion were Vice-Director Lachesar Kostov, Chief Scientific Secretary Sergey Nedelko, Head of the Department of International Relations Otilia Ana Culikov. During the visit, Pavan Kapoor visited the Laboratory of High Energy Physics, where he learnt about the implementation of the NICA megascience project.
