Briefly Youth School under the NICA projectOn 16 - 20 November, the Autumn School on the physics of quark-gluon matter was held at JINR. 30 1st-4th year students from universities in Moscow, Tomsk, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Voronezh studying elementary particle physics participated in the School.The School on the physics of quark-gluon matter was held in Dubna for the second time, the organizers were the UC and the JINR base department "Fundamental and applied problems of microworld physics" of MIPT. One of the goals of the School is to interest future scientists in participating in experiments at the NICA complex that are currently prepared for implementation using the MPD and SPD collaborations and are already underway at the BM@N facility. The School was opened by a review lecture by BLTP Director Dmitry Kazakov. Leading JINR experts gave a series of topical lectures. Within the framework of the School, students learnt about the activities of the Joint Institute, its structure and history, visited the NICA accelerator complex and the Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex. At the ceremonial closing of the School of future scientists, Dmitry Kazakov gave farewell words, he expressed hope for further joint work and presented students with certificates of participation.
