The Stadium "Nauka" has hosted a chess tournament as part of the XXIV Sports Games dedicated to the JINR Foundation Day. 24 athletes from 9 teams have taken part in the tournament.

Team winners: 1st place - MLIT; 2nd place - VBLHEP; 3rd place - DLNP-FLNR.

In the overall standings, the winners are: 1st place - Evgeny Aleksandrov; 2nd place - Aleksandr Makarov; 3rd place - Aleksey Bazhazhin.

Among children: 1st place - Maria Malakhova; 2nd place - Genrikh Novikov; 3rd place - Vladimir Aleksandrov.

The JINR athletes took the 1st place in the Dubna city championship in cross-country skiing among physical culture teams.

On 3-4 March, the traditional swimming competitions dedicated to the memory of Academician G.N.Flerov were held in the Swimming pool "Archimedes", more than 300 swimmers from 15 cities took part in the competitions.
