The motto is always the same - team spirit is invincible!

The Spartakiad is a big sports festival that unites people of different ages and professions. For more than 40 years, Dubna has been hosting city competitions among teams of organizations and enterprises. During the year, teams compete in ten sports: cross-country skiing, athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, table tennis, shooting, chess, kettlebell lifting.

In such competitions, not only the number of participants is important, but also the success of an individual athlete. All achievements are summed up when calculating the overall result and the final team place at each stage of the competition. Athletes that competed for the honor of JINR deserve special gratitude and honor, since at this stage the Institute leads the city Spartakiad.

So, here are the details of the competition among physical culture teams of the city in 2024 in the first five sports.

Then, in May, the city team championship in table tennis among physical education teams was held in the Stadium "Nauka". A total of 11 teams participated and after the round robin stage, the teams "University", JINR, "Promtech" and "Kripten" reached the final. The JINR team took the second place in a tough fight, losing to the team "Kripten". We thank Inna Tikhomirova (SIM), Evgeny Levin (VBLHEP) and Dmitry Medvedev (DLNP) for their excellent results.

There is a break in the Spartakiad today. Starting in September, the athletes will have the following five stages: cross-country running, football, streetball, kettlebell lifting and rifle shooting.

Thus, the JINR sports awards include three first and two second team places. This is evidence of a strong team spirit and the activity of the staff. We wish our athletes further success!
