JINR experience aroused interest

On 20 September, the XVII Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States that was held in the capital of Bashkortostan, Ufa, on 16-20 September, was completed.

The Forums of Scientific and Creative Intelligentsia of the CIS, organized by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, are the largest annual events in the Commonwealth, where the results of the past year are summed up, plans for joint cooperation are discussed and recommendations are developed on the most relevant issues of cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture, information, tourism, sports and work with youth.

By over 250 representatives of the Commonwealth countries participated in the Forum. Delegations from JINR and Dubna University took part in the discussions "Science and education in the era of digital transformation in the CIS" and "Creative innovations and national cultural traditions of the Commonwealth countries".

The reports on the activities of the JINR AYSS, the Cultural Centre "Mir" and the JINR Scientists' Club aroused great interest and lively discussions among the participants. Throughout the Forum, the employees of the Joint Institute spoke about the areas of JINR's work, its ideas and values with great pleasure.

An important goal of visiting the Forum was to establish new contacts for future joint work with representatives of science, education and culture. In addition, participation in such events helps to strengthen the position of the Institute in the international arena, increases recognition and opens up new opportunities for cooperation among the Commonwealth countries.
