About training of personnel

On 13 March, in the JINR International Conference Centre, within the framework of the internship programme JEMS-2024, a round table was held dedicated to a range of issues of personnel training for major scientific projects with the relevant supervisors of JINR, the Dubna University and the branch of Moscow State University in Dubna.

The participants of the internship, the representatives of Gomel State University named after Francis Skorina, Institute of Nuclear Problems of the Belarusian State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, Far Eastern Federal University, Voronezh, Smolensk and Tver State Universities, as well as the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, took an active part in participation in discussions. Cases of successful international experience of the Joint Institute in the field of educational projects and the opportunities that cooperation with JINR provides in this area were reviewed. At the same time, the issue of attracting young specialists back to the scientific groups of universities after receiving education and training at JINR was discussed.
