JINR Director’s congratulations on JINR Foundation Day

To the employees of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and our partners in the Member States of the Institute and around the world

Dear colleagues, friends, our honoured veterans!

On behalf of the Institute’s Directorate, I congratulate you on the 68th anniversary of the foundation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research! On this day, we always pay tribute to the founding fathers of the Institute. They created the scientific schools that are actively developing today, laid the cornerstone for the scientific programme and experimental basis of the Institute, and supported active international cooperation. But their most important heritage is the spirit of selfless devotion to science.

On this momentous day, we acknowledge the vital important role the Institute plays in the lives of each of us. We celebrate its very existence and its authority in the development of bright and open full scientific cooperation between researchers and specialists from many countries and convergence rapprochement and mutual understanding between nations.

On behalf of the Directorate and the multinational staff of the Institute, I express my deep gratitude to everyone who has worked devotedly towards JINR’s international recognition and to those who continue advancing science through creativity, research, and organizational activities in today’s difficult times. Thanks to the support of the governments of the JINR Member States creating excellent conditions for our Institute’s development, and thanks to our wonderful team, JINR looks confidently into the future.

I wish you good health, well-being, and new achievements in expanding the horizons of fundamental science and implementing innovative and educational programmes in the name of the high values of international scientific cooperation and in the name of the future of our wonderful international scientific centre!
