Construction of NICA Collider building discussed at JINROn 3 September, a delegation representing the Tavrida Energo Stroy Group of Companies, the General Contractor for the construction of the NICA collider building, visited the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation for the successful and timely completion of construction work.The Tavrida Energo Stroy Group of Companies was represented by Director of the TES Group of Companies Dmitry Dudarev, Head of the TES-Kirov Branch Alexey Guryev and Commercial Manager of the Project Nikolay Zabolotsky. At the meeting, Directorate of the Joint Institute was represented by JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov, Head of the NICA Accelerator Complex Project Vladimir Kekelidze and JINR Deputy Chief Engineer Andrey Dudarev. At the meeting with JINR Directorate, issues related to the implementation of the assigned tasks and the search for solutions for completing construction at the facility on time were discussed. Together with the Institute's representatives, the General Contractor held an off-site meeting at the construction site in the Laboratory of High Energy Physics, during which the accelerator complex was inspected and the status of current work was presented. Following the visit, the most complex areas of the facility were identified that should be focused on and extra control should be provided in terms of implementing the assigned tasks. A joint decision was made to deepen the cooperation between JINR services and the General Contractor to achieve the assigned tasks and timely completion of construction, installation and commissioning at the NICA complex.
For more than ten years, the Tavrida Energo Stroy Group of Companies has been a reliable partner of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in the implementation of infrastructure energy projects. In March 2024, TES Group of Companies assumed the functions of the General Contractor to complete construction and installation on the construction of the NICA collider building.
